This will be a dual club ride with COGS (Cyclists of Greater Seattle). Each club will have 8 openings for registration and there will be at least 2 ride leaders, 1 from each club.
Meetup at 8:45 AM for a prompt departure at 9:00 AM. ETA back in Blaine around 4:00 PM.
There is parking on F Street or behind Starbucks in Blaine.
Pace: Moderate-Brisk (14-16; 16-18) It is expected that a few groups will form at different paces in these ranges according to our abilities and conditions.
Distance: 65 miles / Elevation: 2.266' / Terrain 60% paved, 40% Gravel
This route tries to take some gravel trails. Recommended tire width 35mm for comfort on trails.
You will need your passport or enhanced drivers license for the 4 border crossings.

This route is similar to the previous MBBC rides to Point Roberts.

Bring what you will need for the day of riding. There is no planned lunch stop. There is a coffee/snack stop at mile 41 at Wood N Frog Coffee Co. in Tsawwassen.
There is an option to meet up for a meal and/or drinks at Gateway 1890 Taphouse & Grill after the ride.
Cancellations for moderate to heavy rains or smoke will be sent by 6:00 PM September 14 but be prepared for changing conditions during the day.
